Trading Game

An extension component to Practical Task #2. Top accumulators of $HD and sepoliaETH will be handsomely rewarded with possible extra marks. For more details on the rewarded marks and the task, please see Moodle. From when the ERC20 $HD token is deployed, students will be able to trade $HD tokens on the Uniswap decentralised exchange (DEX). The game will run for the duration of the course, and the leaderboard will be updated on a regular basis.
Final standings will be taken when the Practical Task #2 is due.

To qualify for the extra marks, students must adhere to the following rules:

• The wallet must be registered with your zID via https://www.finscrypto.xyz/faucet/
• Native transfers of sepoliaETH may only be sourced from either of the two available faucet(s) in limited quantities:
  • Official Course Faucet (Unlimited claims. Capped at 0.01 ETH / 24h)
  • PoW Faucet (Hard limit of 0.5 ETH total ever claimed)
  • $HD transfers may only be performed between your wallet address and:
    • Either of the 3 UniswapV3 Liquidity pool smart contracts:

NOTE: To make the game more interesting, the token supply will be limited. The faucet(s) will be available for students to request sepoliaETH to use in the trading game. The faucet(s) will be capped at a certain amount per day to prevent abuse. Additionally, there will be a 'market maker' bot that will run a set of strategies adhering to a pre-specified set of rules by providing HD/sepoliaETH liquidity and regularly executing trades. The hash of the bot's code will be provided to ensure transparency and fairness.
